The data controller is responsible for the processing of personal data described below.

Purpose of Data Processing

We collect and process personal data solely for the purpose of building and organizing the International Analog & Hybrid Computing Community.

This includes:

  • Managing a list of interested individuals (founding initiative)
  • Informing participants about the establishment of the community
  • Sending invitations to events, workshops, conferences, and online meetings
  • Providing updates about publications, newsletters, and community activities
  • Preparing future membership registration and organizational structure

No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.

Legal Basis for Processing

Processing is based on:

By signing or submitting your data, you explicitly agree to the processing of your personal information for the purposes described above.

Categories of Personal Data

We may collect the following data:

  • First name and last name
  • Email address
  • Country
  • Organization or company (optional)
  • Date and signature (for paper-based registration)

No special categories of personal data (Art. 9 GDPR) are processed.

Data Retention

Personal data will be stored for a maximum of 24 months from the date of collection.

If the community is formally established within this period, data may be transferred to the official organization and further processed under a separate membership agreement.

If the initiative is not continued, all data will be deleted unless legal obligations require longer retention.

Recipients of Data

Your data will not be sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

Access is strictly limited to individuals involved in the founding initiative.

If external service providers are used in the future (e.g., email newsletter services), they will be bound by data processing agreements in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

International Data Transfers

At present, no transfer of personal data to third countries outside the EU/EEA is intended.

Should such services be used in the future, appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) will be implemented.

Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
